Discover the most beautiful beaches of Curaçao
Curaçao is known for its clear blue Caribbean sea, sheltered bays and wide variety of beaches. The island has more than 35 beaches, from lively beaches with restaurants and beach clubs to small quiet bays mostly visited by locals.
If you like having all amenities close at hand, head to Mambo Beach and Jan Thiel Beach. Here you will find restaurants, shops, beach clubs, sun loungers and various water sports.
On the west side of Curaçao you will find many of the characteristic natural beaches. Grote Knip (Playa Kenepa Grandi) is one of the best-known beaches on the island and is surrounded by rocky hills. Cas Abao, Playa Porto Mari, Playa Lagun, Daaibooi and Playa Jeremi are also popular places to swim and snorkel.
Curaçao has a great deal to offer snorkelers and divers. In several places the coral reef lies relatively close to the shore, so you can enter the water straight from the beach.
