Experience Curaçao

Curaçao has much more to offer than sun and beach. The island combines nature, history, architecture, culture and a wide range of activities on and around the water.

A visit to Willemstad is a must. The historic city centre is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and consists of Punda, Otrobanda, Pietermaai and Scharloo, among others, each with its own character.

Cross the famous Queen Emma Bridge, stroll along the colourful Handelskade or discover the restored monumental buildings, shops and restaurants in the various districts.

Nature lovers can head to the west of the island. Christoffelpark is home to Mount Christoffel, the highest point of Curaçao. In the nearby Shete Boka National Park you see the rougher side of the Curaçao coast, where the sea crashes powerfully against the rock formations.

There is also plenty to discover under water. Curaçao is popular with divers and snorkelers thanks to the warm sea, various reefs and numerous dive sites accessible from the shore.

• Sint Jorisbaai - A popular spot for windsurfing and other outdoor activities.

In Curaçao you can also go sailing, diving, snorkelling, kayaking, golfing, mountain biking, hiking and on boat trips, among other things.
